Stainless Steel Houseware Show-2015 was held at Chennai Trade Center, Chennai from 12 to 14 July, 2015. The first of its kind show, was dedicated to the domestic stainless steel houseware industry and keeping this in mind, it was publicized as strictly a B2B show, which achieved an overwhelming response from the industry and turned out to be a resounding success in terms of meeting its objective. Since the show was visited only by the invited visitors, over 5000 visitors, which comprised wholesalers, retailers, distributors, dealers, buying agents, exporters & importers and those from hospitality, restaurant & hotel industry, not only visited this show but appreciated the initiative as well terming it to be a landmark one.
110 exhibitors from across the country exhibited their products in the show, which included a wide range of cookware, kitchenware, cutlery, hotelware, kitchen tools, bar accessories and gift items for any purpose. Besides this, the display also had a collection of machines and raw material. The visit to this show was an unprecedented experience for the visitors, who got to see an impressive range of stainless steel items for their respective purposes and interests, specially in the light of the season of Diwali ahead.
But to top it all, the show resulted into bridging the gap between the manufacturers and buyers as both of them had an interaction with each other and the prospects for the business received a major push. All the 3 days had a huge influx of the visitors and the visitors had to be requested to exit every evening with the timings of the show over.
The another major draw of the show was striking footfall of the visitors from countries like Sri Lanka, Dubai, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Pakistan , Afghanistan, Italy, Denmark, China, Canada, USA, UK and Egypt etc., who appeared quite impressed with the range and quality of the Indian products. This can be seen as opening of new vistas for the Indian industry and can pave the way for growth in the export.
In our pursuit of making this show worthful for the participants, we arranged a modeling show, wherein, the models presented the utensils through ramp walk.
